It may only be August, but a host of top brands have been revealing the products they believe will be at the top of Christmas present lists this winter.
Big names such as Microsoft used an industry preview event in London to announce new products set to hit the market. Dozens of firms were set to exhibit, including Apple, Carphone Warehouse, Toshiba and sat nav makers Garmin. Among the products and gadgets on display were the latest compact camera range from Nikon, including the Coolpix P6000 which has in-built GPS navigation.
Edifer exhibited some pre-production speaker systems which should reach shops in time for Christmas, such as the Rainbow, a infrared wireless audio system. Apple iPhone is already in the market, and Nokia has declared the launch of much awaited Nokia N96 in the last week of october and a lots of Christmas mobile phones, just 2 months before the coming christmas.
